Everlasting memories in YLDP... [Day 2]...

Woke up at 6:30 a.m. First time woken up so early by my own. An achievement. LOL! Breakfast was at 8. So, I went for prayer meeting and took a shower.

After morning devotion, there was some worship before every level broke into their own groups. The worship as usual, was great! They can play without looking at chords, and yet they sound fantastic! I hope this will become a challenge and soon be a reality in my MYF in Alor Star.

Every morning, there would be two plenary sessions everyday. The second day's plenary session was about D.I.S.C. It's a personality test. It's kinda similar to the one I learnt at NSCFL... But to me, the way the speaker at NSCFL put it was more interesting. The one in YLDP could make me sleep if I did not put my 100% attention of listening to it.
The theater... Where the plenary sessions for Level 1 held (my level)...
*What I learn about D.I.S.C. shall come out in my next post...*

After the sessions, it was lunch time! The food served there is ok ok lah! Boleh tahan... There was a thing called connecting time, where each group were given assignments to complete. The assignments where basically things every group had to perform during the fun night. There were 17 groups in all. I fell into Group Myrrh with Sarah. My group was filled with loads of dominant people. It was a headache planning.

Then, we had team building. It was like games. Behind every game there was some sort of lesson to learn. Well, that day's game was about teamwork. There would be people blind folded while some others not to lead the direction to the stations. It was pretty taxing physically. One can lose the sense of direction after being blindfolded for a long time.. I was dizzy after that. But it was fun!

After washing up. It started to pour. A bridge connecting from the canteen to the camps were flooded. The water went up so high in such a short time.

Uncle Daniel Sing's session was fantastic! I wonder how he can come up with such jokes. I lik his way of preaching. He puts it very interestingly. MYF Alor Star should invite him to speak one day. I remember one of the things he preached that day that touched my heart, "Your attitude determines your altitude." That is just so true!

After session was supper and sleep time. When I was about to go to sleep, Joel (my pavilion mate saw a snail crawling up the pole and Lawrence (my pavilion mate also) took it and played fencing with Joel. Joel hated snails and they were running about. LOL! Thinking of it makes me laugh...

Third day out soon...
