Song No. 4

Take Me Home Country Roads
by Bill Danoff/Taffy Nivert/John Denver
Almost heaven west Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains Shenandoah river
Life is old there older than the trees
Younger than the mountains blowin' like a breeze

Country roads take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia mountain momma
Take me home country roads

All my memories gather round her
Miner's lady stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine teardrop in my eyes

Country roads take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia mountain momma
Take me home country roads

I hear a voice in the morning how she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
Drivin' down the road I get a feelin'
That I should been home yesterday yesterday

Country roads take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia mountain momma
Take me home country roads

Country roads take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia mountain momma
Take me home country roads
Take me home country roads
Take me home country roads

Ah... it's the last day of the month... how i wish it were mid-October already... for my major exam is held at the beginning of October (PMR - Penilaian Menengah Rendah).

Why I can't miss this major exam? Why only in the year 2015, this major exam will be abolished? According to MES, MES has proposed five forms of assessment for students in the national education system. They are:
  • School assessment - planned, developed, conducted, examined and reported by teachers in schools.
  • Central assessment - involving standards, instruments, data analyzes and guidelines provided by MES.
  • Central examination - fully conducted by the MES.
  • Psychometric tests - used to measure students' innate abilities.
  • Physical activity assessment - used to evaluate and measure students' performance and involvement in extra-curricular activities.
It sounds so exciting. Why couldn't I have been educated in this type of system? This system should have been introduced long time ago in Malaysia, because most advanced countries like US practice this type of system. This way, students get to enjoy their school years and not be pressured by major exams.

The ascension of Jesus Christ who resurrected for 40 days to be with the disciples. He asked them to wait at Jerusalem for filling of the Holy Spirit.
Yesterday was the Global Day of Prayer.
  1. Know where it's origin? Well... It stared from Cape Town in South Africa.
  2. How it works? It is a ten leading to one followed by ninety.
  3. The ninety days of Blessing starts today till the 25th of August.
So Christians out there... remember to pray!!!

Methane Gas

Across the globe, chickens and pigs are doing their bit to curb global warming. But cows and sheep still have some catching up to do.
The farm animals produce lots of methane, a potent greenhouse gas that gets far less public attention that carbon dioxide yet is at heart of efforts to fight climate change...
Government policies and UN-backed system of emission credits is proving a money-spinner for investors, farmers and big polluters such as power stations wanting to offset their own emissions of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide (CO2).
The reason is simple: methane is 23 times more potent than carbon dioxide in trapping heat in the atmosphere and it is relatively simple to capture the gas from animal waste, landfills, coal mines or leaky natural gas pipes.
A fifth of all greenhouse gas-included global warming has been due to methane since pre-industrial times.
Methane concentrations have increased about 150% in the air since 1750 and now far exceeded the natural range of the past 650,000 years! Human activities are to blame!
