In 1992, a ship container washed overboard into the Pacific Ocean, releasing its cargo of 29,000 rubber ducks and assorted bath toys. They have since sailed the oceans, and have been spotted from Australia to Japan to Iceland to North America. Many have expected to wash up on British shores this year.
