Red Paint Splashed in House...

Recently in the area I live, there has been a house splashed with red paint! As I was passing by, it so happened that there were a group of people surrounding the area that had been splashed. I think it's the reporters...

The opposition candidate won the Kuala Terengganu by-election by a whooping 2631 majority, beating BM's Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh and Independent Azharuddin Mamat.

The people have voted. The people have chosen. I think if the main election is held now, BM will surely lose. The people in Malaysia wants a change. If BN can't give that change, the people have no choice but to turn to the opposition, PKR. This also shows that the opposition won those 80 seats in the election was not a fluke.

With the addition of another opposition MP to the parliament, out of the 222 parliament seats, the opposition now holds 82 seats, while BN is currently holding 137 seats. The three remaining seats are held by independent MPs.

Anwar: "Promote smart students"

Anwar said: "All races should be given equal opportunities". Yes! I couldn't agree more. All RACES should be given EQUAL opportunities. Students who have potential should be given a chance to pursue further in their studies, REGARDLESS of their race and students.

Why should the opportunity be given to the Malays only? If a Chinese or Indian does well, he or she should be given the opportunity also. We live in a country called Malaysia, where Indians, Chinese and Malays live in peace and harmony. If someone asks you, where are you from. Do you say that you are a Chinese? Malay? Or Indian? NO! You would say you are a Malaysian! Because we live together in one country!

Who will benefit if the Chinese and Indians are given the opportunity to pursue their studies? The government! The economy of the country!

So, do you agree with me and Anwar that equal opportunity should be given to everyone? I agree with Anwar on this matter...

What happened to the search of Sharlinie?

I was walking by Pacific the other day, when I saw the poster of Sharlinie in one of the stones. The newspaper has failed to update the public about it. The public would want to know the progress of the case.

I've read somewhere that it is almost a year since Sharlinie went missing after going to a night market alone. She was kidnapped on Aug 20, 2007 if I'm not mistaken. I've read somewhere that her father is no longer getting updates from the police anymore. Aren't the police solving and investigating the case? Surely justice must be done and the crooks must be caught. And surely, the parents must be updated on the progress of the case.

Malaysia no longer looks a safe place to live in. A few years back, there seemed to be less crime. Police, do your thing!

Terengganu bought Mercedes cars... Why?

The Terengganu state government purchased 14 Mercedes E200 compressor cars at RM3.43 million, for the use of its state executive councillors and senior officials.

He says buying the cars to replace the Proton Perdana V6 Executive fleet is a move to cut cost. He says the Proton cars are costing a lot of money due to high cost of maintenance. He also said an example of the Proton Perdana owned by the state commerce, industry and environment committee chairman Toh Chin Yaw, has undergone repairs costing RM 50,000 within 36 months.

He also says Mercedes is cheaper to maintain and save fuel. He also added that the Mercedes can fetch a higher market price.

To me, I personally think that it is because they want the glamor. When these people with power buy such cars, are they saying that Proton cars are not good? Are they encouraging the people NOT to buy Proton cars?

They also say that these Mercedes cars can fetch a high market price. I think that, they themselves can buy these cars at really low prices.

So, do you think it is a good move for the Terengganu state government to buy the 14 Mercedes E200 compressor cars?

Guan Eng (Penang) wants sitting shown live...

Penang wants to be the first state in the country to broadcast its state assembly proceedings live in RTM. The purpose of it is to let the public to see democracy in action...

Personally, i think it is a good move, because then we know what is going on in there, and not be in the dark. People will have an idea of what is happening. People will also know that things are being judged fairly and done fairly.

I think this should have been done long ago by the UMNO. I suppose they didn't think of it. Or maybe they did, but they didn't carry it out, because of some unknown reasons they didn't carry it out. It would have shown that they have nothing would hide, and people would still vote them.

Conclusion, I think it is a good move for the opposition to broadcast their state assembly proceedings live.

Sunday '090308 Malaysia Decided

Yesterday was the day, Malaysia decided. The results are out.
Barisan National as usual, since 1957, will form the next Government. It won more than half the parliamentary seats.
But, this election, Barisan National had some big loses. It has suffered the greatest defeats in its history. Barisan has lost some never lost states for the past few elections. Among the states that were lost are Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor.
PAS has strengthen it's grip in Kelantan.
A few big guns of Barisan National lost. The president of MIC, Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu lost to Dr D. Jeyakumar (PKR). Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil lost to Nurul Izzah Anwar (PKR). And Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin lost to Johari Abdul.
Gerakan acting president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon also lost to Dr P. Ramasamy in the Batu Kawan parliamentary seat.

So, choose wisely MALAYSIA.

Tonight will be the night, where the people shall know,
Who will continue or take over the government,
BN, PAS, DAP, PKR, who knows?
Will BN win?
Or will the opposition party win?
